Mackerel with Peas

Mackerel ("laxerti") with Peas is a dish as simple as it is tasty.

FOR 4 PEOPLE

Ingredients

800 grams of mackerel

2 cloves of garlic

1 bunch of parsley

3 tablespoons of Taggiasca olive oil

salt to taste

500 grams of peas


Directions

Brown the garlic, the parsley and the oil in a saucepan.

Add the fresh shelled peas and half a glass of water. Salt to taste.

When the peas are almost cooked (i.e. after about half an hour) add the mackerels, for whom a quarter of an hour or twenty minutes of cooking is enough.
