Stuffed cabbage: in Ligurian dialect "u preve" (the priest).

FOR 2 PEOPLE

Ingredients for the stuffing

2 ounces minced meat or sausage paste

4 eggs

2 cloves of garlic

1 bunch of parsley (minced)

3 tablespoons of Taggiasca olive oil

salt and pepper to taste.

1 sprig of marjoram

3 tablespoons of grated cheese

a little breadcrumbs soaked in milk and squeezed

the “eye” of the cabbage


Directions

Mix well the ingredients by adding a little breadcrumbs.

Put the cabbage leaves on a plate where two crossed threads of white cotton have been placed.

Pour the stuffing, wrap the leaves and tie the thread.

Cook them in the minestrone.

Alternatively, cook them in a saucepan with olive oil, garlic, parsley, tomato and salt.
